Yesterday my husband Jon and I (Team One Love) photographed a lovely winter wedding at the elegant and haunted Thornewood Castle. Renee and Ryan actually eloped last winter in Florida before Ryan headed over to Iraq to serve in the military. After months apart Ryan is safely home and the two had so much celebrate!  Earlier in the day they had a sweet little ceremony with family at Renee’s church in Tacoma. Afterward we headed over to Thornwood Castle in Lakewood for a big reception. We were able to get some great shots in the rose garden before the sun went down at 4:00pm! The castle was full of decorations for the holidays including at least three Christmas trees on the main level. One of our favorite moments of the evening was when Renee and her Dad started the dancing off with a very animated father and daughter dance to "Sweet Child Of Mine" by Guns and Roses. It was really fun to shoot a winter wedding, we enjoyed capturing the warmth and beauty of Renee and Ryan in the castle!
