it was a perfect small sunny garden wedding at hailey’s grandparent’s
house. this was the third wedding they have hosted at their home. their
children and grandchildren feel very connected to this special spot.
looking over the photos i noticed that grandpa and grandma must love
blue, since it is inside and out. my favorite blue was the retro couch. also loved the striped
awing that provided shade during cocktail hour. at weddings
blue is a symbol of faithfulness and loyalty. perhaps being surrounded
by this hue has been their secret to a long and happy marriage.

i can tell that hailey and collin feel love at this home. they were so relaxed and happy all day. perhaps because they kept it so simple! i was the only official vendor. friends did makeup and tied lilacs to chairs. family prepared delicious snacks served with champagne, strawberries and sunshine. a friend performed their ceremony and helped them with their vows and paperwork. believe it or not, hailey’s dress was a value village find! whenever i go out treasure hunting, i feel the need to poke through the rack of used wedding dresses. most of them make me giggle or roll my eyes. never have i spotted one as pretty as hailey’s. what a lucky girl!
