we shot josie and glover’s wedding the last weekend of june. they had a whole wedding weekend at the beautiful mountain springs lodge in leavenworth washington. we decided to make a weekend out of it ourselves. headed over early to shoot their cowboy themed rehearsal dinner with all their extra special people. wishing i could pull off cowboy boots and a mini skirt like josie. am thinking these two should buy a ranch or something, so she can be a cowgirl everyday! will always think of the song  "if i had eyes" by jack johnson from this weekend, since we played it a four hundred times while cruising in our van. had our own little spot at icicle river. enjoyed the roaring water and stars on our down time.

josie and glover have so much to celebrate! they have been through the ringer in the past six months. let’s just say, that a brain tumor and unexpected surgery wasn’t going to get in the way of this wedding. together they have been so brave and positive, i can’t imagine the stress they have gone through. when i first talked to josie about her condition i knew that the wedding was a go when she said " it’s not like this brain tumor is life threatening, it’s just really bad timing with our wedding" and i thought to myself, there is no way that this tumor is getting the best of this girl! and as you can see, it didn’t.






one of the gifts josie gave her bridesmaids was a pretty clutch for the wedding day. each one was unique and represented their personalities. i heard one of her girlfriends say "it’s so sex and the city, i love it!"
