vanessa and scott were the first lucky pair to marry under the newly restored "hat 'n' boots" at oxbow park in seattle this summer. we really enjoyed shooting in the funky georgetown neighborhood and these two were so much fun to be around! their reception was held in the old rainier brewery building right down the street. vanessa did most of the planning, decorating, and flower arranging herself, with the help of family and friends. there was an awesome farmers/flea market in the parking lot of the brewery the morning of the wedding. her dad made a last minute decision to buy old records at the flea market to hold down the ballons on the tables, i love a creative problem solver. vanessa and scott were so cool and laid back….. anyone who gets married under a giant orange cowboy hat has to be pretty groovy!
