a honey glowing
amber scene
streaked against
a backdrop of beauty,
like warm marmalade
dripping thickly
from a mason jar.

jessica and brian are one cool pair. relaxed, light hearted, open minded and majorly
in LOVE. their chemistry was so natural and wonderful. am
really starting to think there is something to the whole "distance
makes the heart grow fonder" concept. i know that jessica and brian
will do whatever they can to stay as close as possible now that they are married. they have put in their time away over the last couple years. now it's time to relish in togetherness!
jessican and brian couldn't have chosen a more beautiful spot in the puget sound to marry! kiana lodge is steps from a rocky washington beach in poulsbo. every which way you turn there are huge trees, totem poles and flowers blooming. the ceremony was outside in the spring sunshine with a perfect blue sky as the backdrop. my favorite part of the ceremony was when the best men from both of their parent's weddings stood and did a reading about the power of love. what a cool idea. am wondering if they knew how long their duties as best man would last? both seemed quite happy to contribute. the lodge itself is a work of art and the food is to die for. there is even an impressive native american basket collection on display. i enjoyed wandering the grounds with guests as the sun slowly went down and the fire outside started to glow.
