A mystical Montgomery, Alabama family farm wedding, that melted us in more ways than one. 95% humidity & heat is no joke. But most importantly these two melted our hearts through and through.

I’ve always admired the works of Alexander Calder, the man behind the large orange sculpture titled “Eagle” at the Olympic Sculpture Park. I think his quote below explains how we’ve been feeling lately. Jon’s been making cardboard guitar sculptures in his spare time. They are amazing but hard for him to explain in words. While I seem to be stuck in the “thinking stage” for personal photo projects and painting. Perhaps the answer is to not title a project or try to explain or validate it, rather just keep making things that excite you (just because).
“When an artist explains what he is doing, he usually has to do one of two things: either scrap what he has explained, or make his work fit in with the explanation”. -Alexander Calder
Ilona and Milton were married at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Looking at over the Puget Sound, ferry boats and mountains, it was a magical northwest day.
