We are thrilled to have this wedding featured on A Practical Wedding. This was one of our favorites of the year because 1.) We love shooting on beautiful Oahu since we have family there. 2.) The bride and groom are adorable and so darn perfect together. And 3.) We will be returning to Oahu for two more weddings at the Ocean Front Oasis Estate this year!

Don’t those smiles just melt your heart? Avione and Yong got married in the sunshine up in the mountains near Lake Tahoe at the NorthStar Resort. While getting ready her sister squirted her in the eye with hairspray, Avione laughed. We started out at King’s Beach where we almost got blown away by the wind. Avione & Yong laughed. That’s pretty much how the whole day went, tons of smiles, celebrating and love. I think you can feel it.
In the Columbia River Gorge area, about 20 minutes from Portland, you’ll find the Edgefield Resort. The resort is operated by Mcmenamins and is a perfect blend of Oregon’s natural beauty with McMenamins’ signature style. We celebrated our anniversary at the Edgefield and I got the best hot stone massage ever at their spa. It’s a place that makes you slow down and breathe deep. I adore the garden areas surrounding the old farmhouse and the rocking chairs on the verandas. Add Kristen and Cody to this special spot and you have a picture perfect wedding.
